New for 2010:

Art show news
: This year’s ASAA, American society of Aviation Artists, forum and art exhibit will be held at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. The forum officially begins on June 8, 2010, while the aviation art exhibit will be on display at the museum through September. If in the southern California area, please don’t miss this opportunity to see not only a wonderful collection of aviation art, but a marvelous museum as well.

Airline show schedule: I will be displaying my prints for sale at the Chicago Airline Collectibles Show, located at the Holiday Inn, 1000 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, just west of O’Hare Airport. Hope to see you there! For dates, check my link page for the World Airline Historical Society

New Prints: I am pleased to offer two new aviation prints. “Majesty’s Mirror”, an American Airlines 757 in the “retro scheme”, was a commission from an American Airlines captain and the set of prints will be limited to only 300!

The other new print is my first military aircraft subject. The P-47D “Lady Grace” belonged to the 368th Fighter Group, 395th Fighter Squadron. It was flown by Lt. Lawrence Marsch. He named the plane after his girl friend, Grace. After the war, he married Grace and they are still together! Although not an ace, Lt. Marsch was credited with destroying numerous enemy ground targets and one Me-109. His aircraft “Lady Grace” is perhaps one of the prettiest P-47’s of the war and also slightly unusual sporting a rare dorsal fin design applied to much later versions of the D model. I hope you will enjoy my first military aircraft print. For more information about this fighter group, you can visit their website at www.368thfightergroup.com.

Works in Progress: I am currently working on a painting of a Hawaiian Airlines Boeing 767 flying into a gorgeous sunrise. I anticipate it’s completion near the end of 2010.
